1933 - The Confiscation of Gold

Executive Order 6102 is an Executive Order signed on April 5, 1933, by U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt "forbidding the Hoarding of Gold Coin, Gold Bullion, and Gold Certificates within the continental United States". The order criminalized the possession of monetary gold by any individual, partnership, association or corporation.

Executive Order 6102 required all persons to deliver on or before May 1, 1933, all but a small amount of gold coin, gold bullion, and gold certificates owned by them to the Federal Reserve, in exchange for $20.67 - equivalent to $371.10 today per troy ounce.

Under the Trading With the Enemy Act of October 6, 1917, as amended on March 9, 1933, violation of the order was punishable by fine up to $10,000 - $167,700 if adjusted for inflation as of 2010 or up to ten years in prison, or both. Most citizens who owned large amounts of gold had it transferred to countries such as Switzerland.

Much has been said about the confiscation of America's gold supply

Did Franklin Roosevelt know the truth behind the financial crisis? Yes, Roosevelt was a 33rd Degree Mason, Skull and Bones, and Council on Foreign Relations member. Was Congress aware of the Federal Reserves role in the nations gold confiscation?

Yes, they were aware, not to the extent of today as we look back in history but they were well aware of the Federal Reserve act and the implications of it. Neither Roosevelt nor Congress had the desire or will power to stop it as they were being cared for indirectly and not in the street at the corner food line.

There were bigger powers at play during this time than the US government and although the Federal Reserves policies had not evolved to the level they are today the controlling hand of the Federal Reserve was more than enough to keep the government structure at bay.

The fact of the matter is that approximately 500 tonnes of gold were sold

to the U.S. Treasury in 1933 at the rate of $20.67 per troy ounce. This left the federal government with a large gold reserve and no place to store it. In 1936, the U.S. Treasury Department began construction of the United States Bullion Depository.

When was the last time you heard any comments from the government or media about the nations gold in Fort Knox? The official statement is that the United States Bullion Depository, adjacent to Fort Knox, Kentucky is reported to hold 4,577 metric tons (5046 tons) of gold bullion. This is roughly 2.5% of all the gold ever refined throughout human history.

The depository is second in the United States to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York's underground vault in Manhattan, which holds 7,000 metric tons (7716 tons) of gold bullion, how much of that is in trust for foreign nations, central banks and official international organizations is unknown because The Federal Reserve is private.

Scoffers of the signing of Executive Order 6102 quickly bring up the myths

and conspiracies of the past 80 years as a defense. Yes, there were many conspiracy myths and theories about what happened with the gold confiscated because of Executive Order 6102. There are many who believe that the nations treasures have been plundered and I believe gold was just the beginning. The resources of North America are top priority and the Federal Reserve is just one arm of the workers who are working hard to clean the branches.

Is gold a part of the Federal Reserves fleecing of America? Only the controlling hand behind the Federal Reserve can answer that question and they are not talking, don't plan on getting your share anytime soon though. It only equals out to less that a half troy oz (and falling) and your part of the national debt is over $241,000 (and rising).

Executive Order 6102 is not the end of the story. Although it was enacted there have been many Executive Orders set in place for a future crisis. One day soon we will awake to a new world with new laws and new controlling factors that will shake the very foundation of every citizen.

It is called Martial Law and it is waiting in the background prepared for the day. Executive Order 6102 will be the least of our problems on that day. Here are a few laws that have been set in place for that day. None done by a vote - all done be the mark of a pen.

#10990 allows the government to take over all modes of transportation and control of highways and seaports.

#10997 allows the government to take over all electrical power, gas, petroleum, fuels and minerals, public and private.

#10998 allows the government to take over all food supplies and resources, public and private, including farms and equipment.

#11000 allows the government to mobilize American civilians into work brigades under government supervision, split up families.

#11921 When a state of emergency is declared by the president, congress cannot review the action for six (6) months.
