Take a close look at the faces above, does any of them look familiar to you, on your wall perhaps? You've probably identified some of them as a portrait of Jesus and you are correct, just not the God of the bible. The faces you see in this illustration are a few of the various New Age images of one of the claimed ascended masters of the New Age and yes his name is jesus as well. You can even call him the christ, but that is where the similarities end.

As a matter of fact if you have any of the various produced images or portraits of Christ on your wall you have one of the ascended master called jesus (there is no image of the true and living Christ), and wherever there is a picture or statue or even the name of a ascended master, there is the focus of their presence in the room, think about that the next time you see one hanging on the wall.

Does any of this seem foreign to you? It sure did to me and you won't hear it except for the inner new age circles.

If you just took down a picture frame or two don't feel bad I did the same thing when I recognized the faces and there was one just a little too close for my conscience hanging on the wall.  It brought to my mind the old archaic text in Exodus 20: Thou shalt have none other gods before me. Thou shalt make thee no graven image, neither any similitude of things that are in heaven above, neither that are in the earth beneath, nor that are in the waters under the earth.

Thou shalt not bow down to them, neither serve them: for I am the Lord thy God, a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, upon the third generation and upon the fourth of them that hate me: And showing mercy unto thousands to them that love me, and keep my commandments. After that the value of a New Age portrait of jesus the ascended master hanging in the hallway lost all of its value and came down very easily and on down the street and into the dumpster.

New Age Ascended Masters claim to be a part of the Great White Brotherhood

Comprised of ascended masters, elohim and archangels. They claim to have spiritual retreats of light on the etheric plane. An ascended master claims to be one who has attained self-mastery by using the energy of free will, coupled with the law of their oneness with God, to demonstrate mastery in time and space. Through the mastery of the flow of energy in his own being as well as his environment, he claims to have reached a certain level of attainment, bringing his soul into his own God-awareness.

This mastery claims to propel him into the reunion with God that is called the ascension in the light, the ritual of the return that is supposedly demonstrated by Jesus. Hence the term” ascended master”. ascended masters claim to have been the wayshowers for humanity for aeons. Popular names New Agers claim to be ascended masters are Jesus Christ, gautama buddha, mother mary, krishna or saint germain. Together with angels, other cosmic beings and the masters’ ascended followers, the ascended masters claim to comprise a spiritual order called the great white brotherhood.

New Agers feel that Humans have a Divine Spark

Which is their potential to become the christ within. This concept is at the heart of the major philosophies, and religions, East and West. The teachings of the ascended masters claim that all of humans are innately divine. They claim a spiritual flame which has three plumes that embodies the primary attributes of god - love, wisdom and power. This flame is the "kingdom of heaven within" and they claim you become one with God and literally have heaven on earth.

New Agers claim the rainbow rays are the rays of light from the godhead. The ascended masters, the Lords of the rays, are claimed to be the teachers, mentors, or professors of the heaven world, the "wayshowers". Mother mary is claimed to be the ascended lady master, the twin flame of archangel raphael, an archeia. Her claimed titles are the queen of heaven, queen of angels, lady of the immaculate heart, lady of cosmic abundance and saint mary.

New Agers claim that Wherever the Ascended Masters Pictures are

That is where they focus their electronic presence. So images and portraits are not just paper and ink, they claim to becomes the vibrating frequency of the ascended masters claiming that wherever there is a picture or statue or the name of an archangel, an elohim, or an ascended master being is present, written or spoken, the ascended masters are there. Now you know why the New Ager's don't mind you having a picture of their ascended master jesus hanging on your wall.
