New Age Faith Healers and TelevangelistsFaith healing is healing through spiritual means. Believers assert that the healing of a person can be brought about by religious faith through prayer and/or rituals that stimulate a divine presence and power toward correcting disease and disability. Belief in divine intervention in illness or healing is related to a religious belief system. In common usage, faith healing refers to notably overt and ritualistic practices of communal prayer and gestures such as laying on of hands in order to solicit divine intervention in initiating spiritual and literal healing. It can involve prayer, a visit to a religious shrine, or simply a strong belief in a supreme being.
Rather Protestant Pentecostal/Charismatics in the west or Rekie Buddhist, Shinto/New Age in the East or Catholicism - they all follow faith healing with the belief in the miraculous healing of physical ailments and this is something all New Agers have in common. People are entering these movements and changing their entire world views, especially of the supernatural, because of these experiences. But if these experiences are demonic, all these people are being deceived. "The demonic can give wonderful visions and experiences in order to fool people into believing a false religious view of the world"...
The Term Faith Healing is Best Known in Connection with Charismatic ChristianitySome people interpret the Bible, especially the New Testament, as teaching belief in, and practice of faith healing. Modern day faith healers claim to have cured blindness, deafness, cancer, AIDS, developmental disorders, anemia, arthritis, corns, defective speech, multiple sclerosis, total body paralysis, grown and extended arms and legs as well as various other miracles. Although in the west faith healing is dominant in the Charismatic movement it is only one branch of the Spiritual movement of the New Age. This movement has infiltrated all aspects of modern religion and Ecumenism is the teaching that is paving the way to a universal belief system.
I remember personally my first experience with a faith healer was back in the early 70's when Ernest Angley would come on late night bringing his healing concept to the Television audience. His teachings were foreign to my young mind and unmistakeably evil in his presentation. I remember thinking to myself, how could anyone believe this deception and follow such a teacher who was so clearly twisting scriptures. Little did I know what was lying directly ahead for the worlds Televangelistic Industry. Not only did people believe this movement but the concept spread like a wild fire through out a great many of the Churches in America.
Following the Teachings of Kathryn Kuhlman and Her "I Believe in Miracles" Programof the 60's and 70's Angley built a Television miracles ministry that has extended even into this day. The Televangelistic Faith Healing concept is a big money maker and many have jumped on the bandwagon over the years and they have become successful in uniting Evangelical Christians into backing their Charismatic healing ministries. From Dr. Issam Nemeh and his famous Mary apparition healing ministry to Peter Popoff to Frederick Eikerenkoetter (Rev Ike) to the infamous Benny Hinn, Paul Crouch and the Trinity Broadcasting Network. The Faith Healing and Prosperity movements have become the claim to fame. If your unfamiliar with any of these names I recommend you do your own research into their personal ministries.
The Universal New Age Concept of Divine Healing or "Advanced Pranic Healing"New Age divine healing is the use of divine energy for healing. The ultimate Source of Divine Healing Energy is god - who is the Source of all Life. The divine healing energy passes from god through higher beings, holy masters, saints, and healing angels, then to the healer, then to the patient's etheric, mental, emotional, and physical bodies. This healing energy may also be passed directly from the god presence of the healer to the patient. New Age divine healing is practiced in various religions: Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Taoism, Baha'i, Judaism, Hinduism, and others. To the New Ager no single religion has a monopoly on divine healing. Divine healing energy is seen as electric violet light or brilliant white light.
New Age Affirmation for ReceptivityIn general, divine energy is used for treating severe ailments, not simple ailments. For a New Ager to use divine energy for treating simple ailments is like using diamonds instead of coal as fuel. Divine healing is usually used when the healer has to treat many patients with simple or severe ailments in a short time. In the New Age the receptivity of the patients can be enhanced by silently or verbally reciting the "Affirmation for Receptivity": "Lord, you are the source and fountain of all life, I humbly invoke your divine blessing and healing. I fully accept your divine healing energy, with gratitude and in full faith." Touching of the heart chakra or crown-hand chakras technique is used for projecting divine energy. As a New Age healer becomes more powerful, it is necessary for him to lightly touch his heart chakra with one hand to soften the projected divine energy. Otherwise, the patient may weaken or may even faint.
New Age Forehead-Hand Chakras TechniqueThe forehead-hand chakra technique for New Age healers who are quite powerful and whose antahkarana or spiritual root "crystal cord" or "silver cord" it is better to use the forehead chakra as the source chakra for electric violet pranic energy than the crown chakra. This technique is called forehead-hand chakras technique. For very powerful healers, the use of the forehead chakra as the source chakra is milder, safer, and more effective. The use of the crown chakra as the source chakra by very powerful New Age healers are overwhelming to the patient's body and will produce a slower rate of healing. When using the forehead-hand chakras technique, it is still often necessary to touch the heart chakra with one hand while applying the forehead-hand chakras technique.
New Age Invocation for the HealingFor Invocation before healing, it is advisable for the healer to silently pray: "Lord, you are the source and fountain of all life, I humbly invoke divine guidance, divine healing, and divine protection, with gratitude and in full faith." The healer may also invoke the divine blessing of archangels, great prophets or avatars, saints, your spiritual teacher, angels, and healing ministers for help and healing. "Through my spiritual teacher, the healing angels, and the healing ministers, I humbly invoke divine guidance, divine healing, and divine protection, with gratitude and in full faith." After the healing, the healer should silently give thanks: "Lord, thank you for Your divine blessing. To my spiritual teacher, the healing angels, and healing masters, thank you for your help and for the healing."
The New Age and Charismatic Christianity ConnectionFor those who believe that faith healing is only a Christian phenomenon, it's not. It's a New Age concept and most Christians fail to recognize the connection of Global Spiritualism in the modern Charismatic movement when compared to the rest of the worlds New Age religions. Todays modern Christian religions are up to their eye balls in New Age practices and philosophies and the New Age religion of today is a major part of the New World Order system. If any of the above New Age practices are familiar to you and your faith you should probably ask yourself - which Lord am I praying to and asking for healing. New Age religions do believe in a Jesus just not the God of the bible - only one of the ascended masters of the coming New Age of Aquarius... Think about it.
