The High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program HAARP

is an ionospheric research program jointly funded by the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Navy, the University of Alaska, and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). The HAARP program operates a major sub-arctic facility, named the HAARP Research Station, on an Air Force–owned site near Gakona, Alaska. The most prominent instrument at the HAARP Station is the Ionospheric Research Instrument (IRI), a high-power radio frequency transmitter facility operating in the high frequency (HF) band. Work on the HAARP Station began in 1993.

The current working IRI was completed in 2007, and its prime contractor was BAE Systems Advanced Technologies. According to HAARP's management, the project strives for openness, and all activities are logged and publicly available. Research at HAARP includes Ionospheric super heating, Plasma line observations, Stimulated electron emission observations, Gyro frequency heating research, High velocity trace runs, Airglow observations, Heat induced scintillation observations, VLF and ELF generation observations, Radio observations of meteors, probing the mesosphere using the IRI as a powerful radar and weather modification. Oops did I say that? Yes I did...

Take fair warning, say anything outside of the official statement concerning H.A.A.R.P

and be prepared to be labeled a conspiracy theorists because "Its purpose seems deeply mysterious to the scientifically uninformed". Every red blooded American knows the US government has honorable intentions don't they? Who could forget the Information Awareness Program and their Total Information Awareness system of 2002 after the World Trade Center attacks of 9/11/2001 which were designed to keep us safe.

Who could forget their GAIT (Global Automated Identification Technology). The bottom line is everyone knows that DARPA and FEMA have our best interests at heart don't they? Well maybe not, there is a man named Dr. Nick Begich, the eldest son of the late United States Congressman from Alaska. Nick was twice elected President of both the Alaska Federation of Teachers and the Anchorage Council of Education. He has been pursuing independent research in the sciences and politics for most of his adult life.

Begich received Doctor of Medicine from The Open International University for Complementary Medicines, Colombo, Sri Lanka, in November 1994. He co-authored with Jeane Manning the book Angels Don't Play This HAARP; Advances in Tesla Technology. Begich has also authored Earth Rising - The Revolution: Toward a Thousand Years of Peace and and his latest book Earth Rising II- The Betrayal of Science, Society and the Soul both with the late James Roderick.

Nick Begich has published articles in science, politics and education

and is a well known lecturer, having presented throughout the United States and in nineteen countries. He has been featured as a guest on thousands of radio broadcasts reporting on his research activities including new technologies, health and earth science related issues. Begich received Doctor of Medicine from The Open International University for Complementary Medicines, Colombo, Sri Lanka, in November 1994.

He co-authored with Jeane Manning the book Angels Don't Play This HAARP; Advances in Tesla Technology and he has also appeared on dozens of television documentaries and other programs throughout the world including BBC-TV, CBC-TV, TeleMundo, and others. Begich has served as an expert witness and speaker before the European Parliament.

He has spoken on various issues for groups representing citizen concerns, statesmen and elected officials, scientists and others. He served four years as the Executive Director of The Lay Institute of Technology, Inc. a Texas non-profit corporation.

Dr. Begich has been interviewed many times concerning HAARP as well as RFID technology. So when it comes to the official statement of HAARP being a deeply mysterious subject to Dr. Begich or to say that he is a scientifically uninformed conspiracy theorist well, the controversy simply does not end with HAARP's official statement.
