Much could be said about Albert Pike and the Scottish Rite but for the sake of case and point I will just focus on the highlights of two. The fact that Albert Pike was a Luciferian and that the Masonic Order Highly esteemed him in their ranks. The Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry or the Scottish Rite, is one of several Rites of Freemasonry.

There are thirty-three degrees of the Scottish Rite and in the United States the Scottish Rite is officially recognized by Grand Lodges as an extension of the degrees of Freemasonry. Albert Pike is asserted within the Southern Jurisdiction as the man most responsible for the success of the Scottish Rite and Pike occupied simultaneously the positions of Grand Master of the Central Directory at Washington, D.C., Grand Commander of the Supreme Council at Charleston, S.C., and Sovereign Pontiff of Universal Freemasonry.

Pike was a Honorary Member of Almost Every Supreme Council in the World

Personally receiving 130 Masonic degrees. About 1870 he, and the Supreme Council, moved to Washington, DC where he is now presumably buried in the walls of the 33rd degree headquarters - an honour only he and possibly one other has ever received. In his adopted state of Arkansas, Pike was well known as a practitioner of Satanism, Portraits of his later years show him wearing a symbol of the Baphomet around his neck.

Pike however did not believe that Baphomet was Satan. In Morals and Dogma he explains that this symbol was 'misunderstood by those who were not adepts' and that it was 'invented ages before to conceal what it was and it was too dangerous to avow'. Pike mastered sixteen ancient languages and through his studies discovered that the Baphomet was originally a symbol of Lucifer, the hermaphrodite god of pagans. He found in paganism no adversary known as Satan.

'Thus', writes Pike 'The doctrine of Satanism is a heresy and the true and pure philosophic religion is the belief in Lucifer. - Scarlet and the Beast, John Daniel, Vol 2, Page 37. Masons are quick to deny Pike's influence on masonry when his explicit Luciferian doctrines are quoted - but the fact is that Albert Pike is still regarded by most all masons as their figure head.

Very few outsiders know about the intimate plans of Albert Pike and the architects of the New World Order. A thirty-third degree Freemason Albert Pike was destined to develop the Luciferian Doctrine for the Masonic hierarchy. While teaching his beliefs to a select few in the Supreme Council, Pike became the most powerful Mason in the world. It was said that Pike would set unclothed astride a phallic throne in the woods, accompanied by a group of prostitutes.

Albert Mackey said the word "Phallus is a representation of the virile member which was venerated as a religious symbol very universally by the ancients. It was one of the modifications of Sun-worship, and was a symbol of the impregnating power of that luminary. The Masonic point within a circle is undoubtedly of phallic origin." (Mackey, Albert G., "Symbolism of Freemasonry," p. 352)
