The Bilderberg Group

Over the course of human history, secrecy has been used to gain prominence in order to build up the machinations of power. Is that power earned or given? Where does this modern day power lie? With presidents, billionaires, celebrities and royalty?

With intellectuals, entertainers, media titans or businessmen? Some people claim that the unfolding of world events is not merely the aggregate of random individual actions, but a specific predetermined plan, enacted by a small group of unelected power brokers, acting behind closed doors and answerable to no one.

Of all the secret societies accused of manipulating the media and controlling world events to form a New World Order, claims against the Bilderbergers are ones to be taken seriously. Could that be the reality?

Well, the Bilderberg Group, a shadowy secret society born in the ashes of World War II denies any connection with that conspiracy and according to their website at Biderberg Meetings it is just a nice annual get together with no policies made - no votes taken only great food and a little chit chat.

But now that the Bilderberg meetings have been exposed and made public they acknowledge only a benevolent gathering. There is evidence that it’s been involved in choosing international leaders, manipulating the global economy and pressing for a unified world government. From May 29 to May 31, 1954, the very first meeting of the Bilderberg Group was held in the structure from which its name is derived, the Hotel de Bilderberg, near Arnhem in the Netherlands.

The Bilderberg group was initiated by the Polish political advisor Józef Retinger, the Group was promoted by Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands; the head of multinational food, beverage and cosmetics producer Unilever, Paul Rijkens; and in the United States by Walter Bedell Smith, then head of the CIA. Interestingly enough, the Bilderberg Group calls its top committee the “Steering Committee.” Many Bilderberg members are also members of other political think tanks.

Fifty Delegates from 11 European Countries and 11 Americans

Attended the First Conference, each year about 130 guests converge on a different location to participate in the Bilderberg Groups annual meeting. The list of past attendees is the crème de la crème of international politics, industry, media and energy and royality such as the King of Spain and Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands; editors from The New York Times and Washington Post; the heads of IBM, BP, Shell Oil and Barclays Bank and the Chairman of the Federal Reserve. Do members control nations, economies, food supplies and medicine etc?

With important members of the media attending the meeting, it’s strange that nothing is ever reported in the media about the Bilderberg group. Every year the Bilderberg Group meets in a secret location, usually a plush hotel, to discuss world policies and the future of society. Meetings are closed to the public and the CIA guards their locations. The only thing public about the Bilderberg Group is its list of attendees which includes political leaders from the United States and eleven European nations. it’s easy to see how the network of influential politicians, military leaders, and international heads, have the power to steer world politics.

David Rockefeller Stated at the Trilateral Commission in June of 1991:

We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected the promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world-government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the National autodetermination practiced in past centuries.

Numerous attendees of the Bilderberg Conference are known to also be members of the Council on Foreign Relations, expanding the web of elite to a global network of politicians, bankers, and directors of corporations. Over eighteen countries leaders have attended Bilderberg meetings. The European Union, NATO, United Nations, and World Trade Organization all have representatives present and many corporations have representatives in attendance as well including BP, Heinz, PepsiCo, Shell Oil, Walgreen’s just to name a few. For a long time it was rumors and crazy talk of men having secret meetings, but no longer.
